ded cliff area during a day hike. Hand held using my Nikon D7200 with an 18-140 F/3.5 lens at 1/200 sec at F9 and ISO 640.

Eye catching. Difficult to know what problems it may have created, but I find myself wanting a little more room at the bottom to include the whole of the horizontal root. Also, curious as to whether you tried a portrait composition with the vertical roots leading up to the tree. Nick job.
