I was photographing waterfalls and autumn foliage on an overcast, misty day in Ricketts Glen State Park in PA when I came upon this beautiful waterfall with spectacular fall foliage behind it. I like the contrast between the dark water and rocks surrounding the falls and the brilliant yellows and golds of the leaves in the background. This was one of my favorite shots from this fall's foliage season.
Shot with Nikon Z50 + 24-70mm F/4 S lens with circular polarizer to knock down the glare and saturate the colors.

Beautiful! I really like the shutter speed choice for the moving water and the dark to light transition. The fall colors are the icing on the cake.
Thanks for the comment Charles. This is definitely one of my favorites from this fall’s images!
Robert, this is a definitely beautiful shot of waterfall. Well done! Just wonder what the shutter speed you used. The water flow texture looks so good.
Thanks for the comment Ping. The shutter speed was 2.5 sec for this shot
Just absolutely beautiful. Great composition, great treatment of the waterfall, great colors, great depth. Really well done in my opinion.
Beautiful shot. I was in Ricketts Glen many years ago. It was difficult to hike there as the steps were narrow and slippery with no handrails.
