Sunrise along a calm Deschutes River, central Oregon, with aspens at full fall color a few weeks back. This was a difficult (for me anyway) exposure blend of several images for dynamic range. It was made more difficult due to light bleed around the trees and some movement of the branches. With several editing attempts I think I managed to work it out.

Hi Paul, I like your capture very much. You mastered the mentioned "difficulties" very well - my congratulation! I can literally feel your mood that morning when you finally released your shutter... By the way: There is HDR-software around where you can - when some objects have moved during capturing your brackets - define which bracket you want as master bracket. The software then calculates (simplified explained) all the exposures and colors from the other brackets into this master bracket. Drop me a line when you want to learn more, ok?
Thx Chris, yes I am aware, appreciated.
Hi Paul, what a super shot. Very nice work on the editing. My only minor thought is that the sky upper left is a little dark, and perhaps an oblong area of brightness horizontally over the tree line would help pull me into the center of this excellent image.
Thx John, valid observations, much appreciated.
