My goal with this photo was simple. Find an ordinary place (devoid of grandeur) and compose a successful composition. There’s no grand landscape, epic waterfalls, towering mountains, or other iconic landmarks. It’s just a park, a simple local park. In this local park I found an arrangement of trees that formed several triangle shapes (6) that push the viewers eye deeper in towards the sunburst and surrounding light bloom. I also like how the picnic bench beside the tree breaks the symmetry of the mirrored tree on the other side. Lastly... I like how the very perspective oriented shot plays against the wildly organic tree limbs that chaotically break the rules. It’s party on the top and business on the bottom. Shot with a Canon 5D Mark IV and 16-35mm f/4 lens
