So I guess by now, I have flooded the Forum with my posts of Cape Henlopen, but local travel is it for me. I have wondered away from the Ocean sunrise pics to see what else I can find. This area of the park is closed during breeding season, and not accessible pre - dawn, so there is lots to explore.
The Delaware Breakwater Lighthouse is one of Delaware's oldest lighthouses it was established in 1885. I understand from other local photographers that during extreme low tides (happens about 4 times a year) The sand bars are exposed and you can almost walk right up to the lighthouse.
I just wish that there had been a more interesting sky this day. The fence is protecting breeding areas so my angles are limited, and I'll have to be creative
As always, questions, comments, ways to improve are always welcome. I am here to learn and it's nice to hear other photographers thoughts.
