Foggy morning walk on the beach in Florida. The fog gave it a surreal feeling - so i decided to enhance that and give it an impressionist treatment. Shot with Galaxy S8 phone camera
Thank you; that was my intent, I thought the impressionist approach worked well that way. Some photographers don't like this kind of photo-editing. I think of it as another way of artistic expression using photographic images. Interested in others thoughts. Also, thinking about moving the red cooler closer to the fisherman - your thoughts?
Thank you Faith. I did try a version with the cooler closer - and to your point, it made me focus more on the center and the man, and not move around the image. Thought in this image though it had too long a "tail" with the cooler where it is. For now, it stays. thanks.
Looks like a painting.

I like the cooler just where it is...the viewer’s eye follows the triangle formed by the man, bird and cooler as it travels around the image.

I think the cooler helps balance the image. If you moved it closer to the man, there would be too much weight on the left side of the image.
Thanks Frances; the cooler stays. :)
I like the treatment; looks like a painting. I love the details of the bird and the cooler.
Thank you very much, Rachel.
