Title: Glorious Light. Capture time: 5:25 AM. Date: September 3, 2011. Exposure: 1/20 sec, f14. Camera: Nikon D90. Lens: Nikon 10.5 Fisheye. ISO 200.
I wanted a dramatic and different perspective, so I climbed down into the rocks and got close to the foreground, and waited for the sun to rise. I felt this was the best photo of that morning. I feel sometimes everything comes together
Thank you.Lee
I really like this perspective on an iconic location. I'm assuming it's at least partially due to the use of the Fisheye, but I find the slanting horizon distracting. Don't know how close you live to this area, but I would suggest trying the same photo using a standard wide angle lens. Also, I think there is room to darken the sky slightly and try to bring out a little more of the color. I think it would really enhance the photo.
I live in mass. Have been there several times. Love photographing this lighthouse. I will send another photo later. Thank you for your comment Lee
