Last Sunday I was on the Chicago Museum Campus by the lakefront before sunset hoping for a moonrise shot. Clouds on the eastern horizon made that impossible, so I turned around and looked for a foreground and a shot into the setting sun. This sculpture, Habakuk [homage to Max Ernst], looked very interesting. I also noticed that the sun would disappear behind a building creating a sun star opportunity. The shot is an 18 shot HDR pano focus stack using a Canon 17mm f4 TS lens. I also layered in a slightly later long exposure shot for the car trails. Your thoughts are welcome!
