Revisited South Beach recently with my newer Sony A7III. I added a Rokinon 14 mm fully manual lens. I believe I was at f11 for 141 seconds at ISO 100. I new that with clouds rushing by from the East we were going to be able to capture some nice movement using long exposure. No HD filters needed because it was already night time. Most of the light came from the city lights behind us which is about a quarter mile away. Moonlight was not a factor. Please critique, thanks Luis
Awesome shot I love almost everything about it, the blue dot of the light - I wonder if it would be better without it? the Sky is amazing, and at night, nice job
Thanks for the nice comment. Yes, I saw that too and in the rush to get things completed we sometimes forget to take another look and just push to get images out there. Definitely always room for more editing!
This is a wonderful image. Great light and movement and that lone guard station seems to personify the isolation we now all feel, especially now that many beaches are closed in the pandemic.
Thank you Frances. I know we are now in some real challenging times even for us folks that love photography so much. I keep looking for your post while I am surfing the web. Stay safe and keep posting!
