Thank you for the comments. Going to Iceland was a great experience. I was there in December specifically to see the ice caves. I hope you will be able to go.
Thank you for the comments. I debated as to whether or not to include the rope. I thought it added some perspective as to the size of the ice formations. It also reminded me of climbing around the glacier holding on to the ropes, which was part of the experience for me. But it may be a distraction for the viewer. I am interested in any comments.
Interesting to only quickly view the image and then read the comments, only after I had read them and went back to the image did I spot the rope,it should be in there as it adds scale as I initially thought that I was looking at an object only around a meter across.
II love the colour palette in the photo, the clarity of the ice. Great image. Pandemic permitting I am planning 11 days on Iceland in August.

This is so unreal it could be off another planet. Super colours, detail and location.
On the flipside - i wonder what anyone thinks about removing the rope? I would be inclined to.
A special image indeed and one for your wall I hope - thanks Valarie

I love the colors of the sky and the texture of the ice. I too would leave the rope in.
