The two planes of sky and water converge to an implied horizon beyond the ice face. One can just imagine the reflection of the berg as its hidden, underwater part, so it floats there in the middle distance, both literally and figuratively.
Just digging through my raw file archives the other day . . . here's one that for years went unprocessed. This is Vestrahorn Mountain in Iceland. Canon 5DIII, Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 lens.
This is one of my favorite images from this past spring in Norway. Please let me know what you guys think about it. Nikon D850 with PC Nikkor 19mm f/4E. That tilt-shift lens is amazing for landscape work!
Gorgeous photo Victor!
Thank you Ian!
