This photo is from Lofoten, Norway, this past May. Truly a spectacular place. I loved this view (which was just one of countless places along every road) and spent a while taking some photos before I got back in the car to leave. Just then, the light broke through and (finally!) lit up the foreground and the mountain in the background, so I was right back out of the car and trying to catch it before the light moved on. Many places in Lofoten were like this, showcasing snow-capped peaks against a sea that at times almost looked like it belonged in the Caribbean. I particularly like the way that the rock on the left side looks like a sapling version of the mountain in the distance. Nikon D850 with Nikon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D.
