I recently had the honor of hearing Ian Plant speak at CNPA in Startanburg SC and was inspired to try the low and wide perspective with my landscape images. These rocks are only visible at low tide and especially dramatic at Sunrise. This capture was at first light void of the sun, as I am not a big fan of the orange ball in the sky photos. These rocks are covered with algae and make for a great foreground. At their highest point they are maybe a foot off the ground. I would love your thoughts on this image. Is it too dark? shadows? Improvements? Thanks for the inspiration Ian!
