I love this, Frances. Michigan is one of only two states that I have not been to; clearly this needs to change!
There's a lot to like in this image! The sunstar, the pebbles, the dripping water, the light raking across the underside of the arch...it would make a lovely large print for the wall.
Do you mind sharing what lens or focal length you used for this? Also, how tall is that arch? I'm not quite sure of the scale, but my suspicion (based on the pebbles) is that it is not as large as it looks.
Hi Jim, I am so glad you liked this image. It was such fun. As you can tell you will have to have someone that does boat trips out to this area. This image was done as a 3 image Brackett. I used my Sony A7riii ultra wide 12-24mm lens f4G. The arch is pretty good size. If you get a chance Munising is a sweet little town and there Is a man Scott and I think his last name is Gin is a great guy who owns a boat. Ian Plant May be able to help you with that information. Again thank you for your kind words.
Hi Frances, I certainly recognize this spot! A lovely photo of this amazing place. Well worth the effort getting there!
Thank you Ian.
