I haven't posted in a while, been in a rut photographically speaking. But here's one from earlier in the year. I had found a composition I really loved in the Midway Geyser basin in Yellowstone back in May. However it was not in this direction, so thankfully I turned and saw the clouds turning pink behind me, and Excelsior Geyser looking pretty cool. A very photographed place, but not much by me, so very thrilled and thankful to have been there.
One of our favorite local spots - you'd never guess this was in the middle of winter (since we usually have snow and ice at this point). I thought about removing my daughter, but it helps show the scale... though maybe I should change the color of her clothes? Thoughts?
