Okay, I know we have a strong monkey theme going on, but here at Shuttermonkeys, we're more than just monkeys. A LOT more than just monkeys. We're all about striving to find new ways to capture all of the beautiful facets of our world. And we want YOU to be a part of that creative journey with us. So join us, and evolve your photography!

I can entirely get behind the monkey theme. They are amazing subjects. I've found that visiting wildlife conservation spots around the world make the best way to capture some serious monkey antics. I've overnighted in some of the smaller ones, which gives you more time with the animals and a chance to see their daily routine. Fascinating stuff :)
Wow, what a beautiful photo! Can you please tell us more about this? What kind of monkey, and where was this photographed? I love photographing monkeys, they are so fascinating to watch. Oh, and we'd love to see you post more monkey photos on the Wildlife Forum: https://www.shuttermonkeys.com/forum/wildlife-photography
@Ian Plant Thanks, Ian! This was shot in Senda Verde Primate Reserve in Bolivia, a bit north of La Paz - great place that rescues trafficked animals. It's a black spider monkey. And I'll definitely head to the forum :)
Congratulations on this entire concept and a very superb, high quality website that is not packed with adverts. This is top quality from the get-go and I thank you for allowing me to be a participant. Wow 👏 👍
Thanks Julie! Yes, we are 100% ad free and plan to stay that way!!!! Welcome to the tribe!
