Hi Andreas, this is lovely. The water action in the foreground really helps lead the viewer's eye deeper into the image frame. Everything comes together perfectly in my opinion. Really nicely done!
Thanks, Ian! I am not sure if the image isn't a bit overprocessed. I darkened the foreground and applied a bit of Orton glow to the back to increase the "mystery" - maybe too much.
I like it, Andreas. I think the foreground rocks & water lead the viewer nicely from the bottom left to the upper right where the falls and lit foliage is. I am not sure whether you lightened up the mossy-looking area on the left side; I would try darkening it to see how it looks that way...I think it might distract from the overall bottom-left-to-upper-right (visual) flow of the image. Just a thought.
Out of curiosity, do you mind sharing what island this waterfall is on?
This is one of my favorite images from this past spring in Norway. Please let me know what you guys think about it. Nikon D850 with PC Nikkor 19mm f/4E. That tilt-shift lens is amazing for landscape work!
This is one of my better images from a recent trip to Hawaii. I wrote about how I processed this image and why I like it on my blog ( https://theartfulengineer.com/volcanic-dawn ), but I'd be interested to hear what you guys think about it, good or bad. Can any of you find the animal in this image?

Well, I guess I'm not a big fan of the Orton glow effect generally and never use it myself, but that's a personal preference :)
