Inspired by a previous posting by Zeph Van Allen, I'm posting this 2 shot pano that I took this past May at the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Painted Hills Unit. I was lucky enough to be there when the golden beeplant flowers were in bloom which gave the area a somewhat different look from what is usually photographed. I had been standing behind the fence line aimed at the distant hills when I decided to look in different direction for some inspiration. This shot serves as a good reminder to me not to just settle for the more obvious shots but to experiment with different points of view.
