A portion of the storm I had followed this day was now perched directly over Echanted Beach, immediately behind the tufa formations (Needles Rocks). This section of the storm had increased in size and power exponentially and its appearance was impressively dramatic and beautiful. Thank you, Zeph, for your kind remarks. This was my first visit here and it was a wild first day chasing storms up the lake. The following day was calm, yet filled with interesting compositions.
WOW! Loving this. The tufa formations look so small, but they have presence beyond their size in this because of the light striking them, and because the rain streaks lead the eye right to them. Nice!
This striking multi layer cloud formation is tremendous! It's a "giant" towering over the lake. This area gets its share of intense weather.

Thanks, Ian. This was near the end of a day chasing this storm with a series of very different compositions, lighting, etc.
