At low tide in the early evening, sea stacks are battered by the surf along the rugged Washington coast. A photographer colleague (Ian Plant) stands in the surf alongside the left-most stack, composing his shot of the setting Summer sun between the two groups of large sea stacks, on Washington's Ruby Beach.

That shot "rocks!" The positioning of the stacks, the surf line, the sun on the distant stack and the gentle processing all combine to make me want to linger and enjoy the photograph.
Thank you, Charles. Ruby Beach is a spectacular venue for photographers. So much so that it is challenging to create original images. I trust this one is a unique interpretation.
A gorgeous shot. Wish I were there!
Thank you Frances. It is a very popular beach for all the right reasons. That being said, it is also challenging to photograph because of the many visitors.
Good lighting and movement . Beautiful shot :-)
Thank you Carl. I was blessed.
