I saw this ramp leading down to the flooded field in Feb. 2018. This field is only flooded for a few short months I thought then it had to potential to make a cool star trail image. However with uncooperative weather during the new moon over the next few months I had to wait until Jan. 2019. This image is made of an HDR image for the ground and horizon {taken during the blue hour} combined in Photoshop with a star trail image { processed in StarStax} Lots of trail and error went into blending the images. Just want some critique...get thoughts on what I should have done differently. Thanks Kate. PS loved listening to you Ian at CNPA... I learned soo much!!

Hi Kate, I think this is really great! Great use of the leading lines of the ramp. The star trails really take this over the top. I can't really think of anything that you should have done differently here. An excellent and very creative image!
P.S. Welcome to Shuttermonkeys, so glad you could join us!
Thank you so much Ian. I really appreciate your input!
I like this a lot.
Many thanks George
I keep coming back to this. This would look big. ?did you correct perspective in LR during processing?
Hey George, I did use the transform module in LR after I had blended the sky and the ground images. After blending in PS I brought back the image to LR to do more edits there as I am much more comfortable in LR then PS... still learning PS :}
