This is one of my better images from a recent trip to Hawaii. I wrote about how I processed this image and why I like it on my blog (https://theartfulengineer.com/volcanic-dawn), but I'd be interested to hear what you guys think about it, good or bad. Can any of you find the animal in this image?

I really like the moody feel to this and the soft pastel colors. The relationship between the foreground and the rock sticking out of the water creates a narrowing of perspective that helps to pull the eye deeper into the composition. Nicely done!
Thank you!
Very lovely, especially the lighting, well, the entire composition.
Thank you, Faith! I am glad you like it! I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
Hi James - there's a lovely tension between the hardness of the rock and the soft, beautifully coloured sky and water. I really like this, and can't figure out any animal :(
Thank you, Andy! The rock was absolutely crazy-jagged; I kept trying to find a way to emphasize it, so I am glad you think it worked here.
As for the animal, if you look in the lower left almost where the silhouetted rock meets the edge of the frame, there is a crab standing standing there, also silhouetted. You can see the ocean below his body and between some of his legs. :-)
