When I have some free time between my travels, I sometimes like to head into the city for some street and urban photography. When photographing the city lights at night, I usually like to shoot at the edge of twilight, so that the ambient light in the sky balances with street and building lights. I waded waist deep into the Mississippi River to make this photo of downtown Minneapolis framed by the Lowry Avenue Bridge. I dropped my ISO to increase my exposure time to blur the moving water enough to make the reflections look smoother. Canon 5DIII, Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens, ISO 50, f/13, 30 seconds.
