A waning Gibbous moon rises over the Empire State Building, New York City. This photo was taken from the New Jersey shore around 11 pm during a PhotoPills workshop this past weekend.
I'm not much of an astro-photographer (as the photo might attest to, haha). But one early fall evening in Chincoteague, while the park was still open late enough to get a milky way shot, I tried some astro-photography. The grass in front actually was lit by a passing car, for which I was thankful.
