Went out Jan. 4 to try to capture the Quadrantid meteor shower. The location had way too much light pollution and I only caught one meteor. Wish I could have traveled to a darker spot but I had to stay close to home as my granddaughter was visiting and we had to get her to her flight home early that morning.

I like this capture, Frances! Much more than your «Clouds rising at night» about one month later captured from the same place. This here transports all the night feelings and the atmosphere from that special night to the viewer. btw: It's probably no news to you that you can reduce noise in dark areas by merging together multiple identical exposures. It dosn't help much in such small sizes here with a maximum of 1500p long edge. But prints and canvas like you do will benefit a lot.
