Glade Creek Grist mill at Babcock State Park, West Virginia. The mill was built in 1976 by combining parts and pieces from three earlier mills that were partially destroyed. The basic structure came from Stoney Creek mill which dates back to 1890.
Blackwater Falls near Davis, West Virginia, a 60-foot cascade in a state park with a lodge and many hiking trails. There is an overlook suitable for wheelchair accessibility and an overlook that is down 200 steps but close to the falls. Located in the Allegheny Mountains of Tucker County, the falls are named for the amber waters tinted by the tannic acid of fallen hemlock and red spruce needles.
