Anybody have any suggestions for photographing bobcats and black bears in the mid Atlantic? Winter is here where I live so the scenery is pretty dull photographically, but I really want to get a good shot of something like a bobcat this season, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the when/where etc. Thanks! Oh and I'm using a Canon EOS RP and I have a Tamron 150-600, so I have a decent amount of reach.

I've never tried to photograph bobcats, but I understand that they are skittish. Black bears will be hibernating for the winter, but Big Meadows in Shenandoah in May and June is a great place/time to photograph bears and white-tailed deer. That's the best spot for bears that I can think of off the top of my head in the mid-Atlantic area. Good luck!
